Associates Program

The Associates Program at Rice University is an integral part of the residential college system where faculty, staff, and community members commit to supporting the intellectual, cultural, and social life of the 11 residential colleges by engaging in the community and providing mentorship, guidance and support to students. The residential college system and the Associates Program are often cited as the University's most unique attributes, undeniably impacting undergraduate student life and contributing heavily to Rice's incredibly consistent rankings for best quality of life and happiest students according to Princeton Review. In the 2016 edition of Princeton Review's "The Best 380 Colleges", Rice ranked number 1 for best qualify of life and racial interaction.
