Each year, a considerable number of faculty members, staff members, and community members express interest in learning more about residential college life, the role of an associate, and/or how to become an associate of one of the residential colleges. To facilitate this process, send an email to Dr. Brian Gibson at hoot@rice.edu. Information sessions will be held to describe the role and answer any potential questions. After the information sessions, an effort will be made to connect those still interested in becoming an associate with the residential college leadership responsible for recruiting and selecting new associates.
Each residential college has its own “personality” which can change over time based on its leadership and traditions. Below is a brief description of each residential college that has been pulled from their respective websites.
